Poor Shower Flow

Poor flow rate from shower heads is a real problem for people who live in Kent and the South East of England. This is mainly due to the hard water which causes limescale deposits.

To improve the flow from your shower, you need to regularly take your shower head apart and clean it out, You can also stick a pin though the holes to remove all the deposits.

The other option really is to fit a water softner, which normally go on the water supply as it enters the house, BUT after the supply to the cold tap for the kitchen sink.

This allows you to have water for drinking (treated water takes on a salty taste, thus making it less palatable than normal mains water). Sadly, your kettle will still get furred up with scale!
